Our 75th Ave. location is opening August 1, 2010. Classes are filling up quick and are being capped at 12 students per class. Please register for our next season; we would love to have you dance with us!

You are free to sign up for classes at separate studios under the same rate plan. Our prices will be the same as last year:

1 class/ week: $56/ month
2 classes/week: $95/ month
3 classes/week: $130/month
Unlimited: $165/month
10% Off additional Family Members
Competition Team: Add $40 to your rate. All competition team members must take at least one additional dance class during the week to build technique.

Registration Fee: $12 returning clients
Registration Fee: $20 new clients

Please register now to reserve your spots by filling out a NEW registration form at the front office. Spaces are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Classes will be capped at 12 students/class. We will continue all classes through July until August 1st when the 2nd studio opens for business!

Director and Head Instructor: Melissa:

 


Melissa is the founder of "Sundance Studios." She started dancing at the age of six and has been dancing ever since. Melissa has been teaching dance for over 10 years and has danced professionally for six! She was a Suns Dancer for 5 years as well as an Arizona Cardinals Cheerleader. You may also find her in Phoenix teaching sixth grade students. She has been a teacher for over five years. Melissa loves to dance and also has a passion for working with children. She provides only the best in quality education for children


Marco:


Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Marco Marcial (Bboy Marco) fell in love with the Hip Hop Culture at age 9. His focus and passion is mainly in the art of Breaking (B-boying). Marco began training at age 11 and has been Breakdancing, competing and performing professionally ever since.

Now at the age of 28, Marco enjoys teaching others what he loves! He has been working with kids in an after school program called "All the Right Moves" for the past 5 years. He's been a competitor and performer for Battle of the Year, Break Feast, Celebration of Dance, WNBA Phoenix Mercury Halftime show, Furious Styles Crew Anniversary, Kings of AZ, Freestyle Session, Top Dog, The Undadog and battles throughout the state of Arizona.

He also has experience dancing with Arizona dance companies Automatic Response and EPIK Dance Co. Most recently, EPIK was named one of the two finalists in the 2008 Phoenix's Best Dance Crew Competition and performed during the pre-show for the Ämerica's Best Dance Crew" concert at Dodge Theater. Marco is a proud member of one of Arizona's top B-boy crews "Mellow Drama Crew". He is a passionate and dedicated teacher and competitor.


Paige:


Paige is a native of Texas, you'll know once you hear her southern accent! She has an incredible dance history. She has earned her degree in dance from the University of Arizona. Paige has danced for the Phoenix Suns for 6 years, the Mercury Hip-Hop Squad for 2 years, the Arizona Rattlers for 1 year, and the Arizona Cardinals, WOW! On top of that, she has traveled the world on a cruise ship providing entertainment. Paige has definitely proved her passion for dance. She also enjoys teaching what she loves!

Julie:


Julie is originally from Minnesota. She has been a captain and member of both Arizona State University as well as the Arizona Cardinals. Julie has traveled all the way to Iraq to entertain the U.S. troops! Julie loves teaching dance to children. She is currently an employee for a foster care agency and her care for children is remarkable. Julie has been teaching dance for the past 8 years and can't wait to meet you!

Gio:


Giovanna is an Arizona native and has cheered for ASU and the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders. She specializes in pom and cheer as well as gymnastics and teaches various age groups. She's also bilingual!

Marisol Lopez:

Marisol Lopez started dancing bile folklorico at the age of 5 and continued for 8 more years. Throughout her 8 years she joined a bile folklorico dance company named “Los Rosas Blancas”. Marisol traveled with the dance companies around the West Coast for competitions. They also did appearances and preformed at events, such as parades and preformed at Cinco de Mayo events as well as at the Arizona State Fair and the state capital. When Marisol entered high school she joined the high schools dance team. Throughout her 4 years with the dance team she learned Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Hip Hop. Every year with her dance company she would receive many awards like most passionate, best choreographer, and most dynamic dancer. Today she is still expanding here dancing knowledge and hoping to become a suns dancer.
